As a pioneer of resuscitation solutions for nearly 30 years, ZOLL Medical Corporation works to advance the practice of resuscitation including pacing, defibrillation, circulation, ventilation, data management and fluid resuscitation. The company manufactures products that assist responders in emergency rescues and in hospitals, in doctors' and dentists' offices, in schools, in public places and on the battlefield.
The u-connect team was approached to help ZOLL announce a new contract with a group of hospitals. Interestingly, this particular hospital purchasing group represented approximately 15 to 20 percent of the hospitals that the company had virtually been locked out of servicing in the past. The team had the task of creating a strategy and suggesting the appropriate tactics that would satisfy the company’s desire to both promote the contract and gather information from the purchasing agent.
The team’s proposed strategy and cross-media solution recommendations resonated with ZOLL executives. Based on the team’s proposal, the “Sweet Connection” campaign came to fruition. The creative 3-Dimensional mailer, with the inclusion of a PURL, successfully announced the contract and helped the company gather the appropriate data they requested.
